2019 PADDLE FOR THE BAYS: RACE CAPE COD

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2019

• REGISTRATION TABLE (6:30 AM - 9:30 AM) 10 people
  Assist racers with the check-in process.  All racers must sign a waiver. If the racer did not pre-register, they also have to complete a form and provide payment. Once a racer has checked-in or completed registration, they will receive a race bib, a shirt, and wristband. Registration table will also be where spectators get a beach party ticket and wristband.

• DROP-OFF ATTENDANTS
  Assist racers with navigating the drop-off area where they will drop off their boards.

  • Shift 1 (6:45 AM - 9:45 AM) 2 people

  • Shift 2 (9:45 AM - 12:45 PM) 2 people

• PARKING ATTENDANTS
  Assist racers with parking in designated lot.

  • Shift 1 (6:45 AM - 9: 45 AM) 4 people

  • Shift 2 (9:45 AM - 12:45 PM) 2 people

• FINISH LINE TIMERS (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM) 4 people
  Assist with recording race finishers with time and correct bib #.

• SPECTATOR/BEER TICKETS
  Racers will already have their beach party wristband, but spectators need to purchase a wristband to attend the beach party.  Both racers and spectators will need to purchase beer tickets to get a beer. 

  • Shift 1 (9:30 AM - 12:00 PM) 2 people

  • Shift 2 (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM) 3 people

Volunteers get a t-shirt too, so make sure to select your size.
